Demitasse Cup

A demitasse cup is the perfect size and shape for espresso.  Its shape and size is perfect for a 3-oz pull, insulating the espresso and maintaining the presentation of the shot with the crema resting on top. (Even after you give it a gentle stir.)

A cappuccino cup is typically bigger and wider than a demitasse, able to hold a 6-oz cappuccino or flat white.  But remember that cappuccinos and flat whites are shorter espresso-based drinks, and using a larger latte cup will impact your ability to pull off foam art.

Perfect for lattes and mochas, latte cups typically hold 12 ounces of liquid. A wide, open rim allows a milkier beverage to be truly savored, and offers an opportunity for foam art practice. (Don't be intimidated!)  When in doubt, ceramic is a great choice for material.
