Pro:  Rich in Antioxidants

Caffeine is a stimulant that makes the level of alertness and energy in the body increase.  Because of increased energy and alertness, people often associate it with improved mood and well-being. When consumed in moderation, coffee reduces feelings of fatigue and drowsiness.

Pro:  Can Fight Headaches

Caffeine is a natural pain reliever that helps to constrict blood vessels and block pain signals from the brain. That’s why coffee makes such an effective headache remedy.

It takes about six to eight hours for the body to metabolize caffeine, which means that drinking coffee late in the day—even the early afternoon—can make it difficult to fall asleep at night.

Some people experience an atypical response to caffeine.  This can lead to headaches and migraines for those who are already prone to them.
