Total Time 7 minutes
Servings 1 drink

Ingredients

  • 2 shots (3oz) of espresso or ½ cup of strong coffee
  • 4-6 oz of any milk of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (Optional)
  • ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (Optional, topping)
  • Chocolate shavings (Optional, garnish)

Instructions

  • Brew 2 shots of espresso (3oz) or ½ cup of strong coffee using your preferred method. You can use instant coffee as well, but the flavor may vary.
  • Let the coffee cool for a few minutes, then transfer it to a glass or container that can hold at least 2 cups of liquid.
  • Add the chocolate syrup or cocoa powder to the coffee. Mix cocoa powder with a small amount of hot water first to dissolve it before adding it to the coffee.
  • If you like your coffee sweet, stir in the sugar and mix well until the chocolate and sugar dissolve.
  • Add the milk to the coffee mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Fill a separate glass with ice cubes and pour the coffee and milk mixture over the top.
  • Stir gently to chill the beverage.
  • If desired, top the iced mocha latte with whipped cream or extra chocolate drizzle. Consider adding a sprinkle of chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish.
  • Serve immediately, and enjoy your homemade iced mocha latte!

Notes

  • Feel free to add sweetener or adjust the chocolate intensity according to your taste preferences. You can also experiment with incorporating a dash of vanilla extract or a flavored syrup for extra flavor variations.
