Brew 2 shots of espresso (3oz) or ½ cup of strong coffee using your preferred method. You can use instant coffee as well, but the flavor may vary.
Let the coffee cool for a few minutes, then transfer it to a glass or container that can hold at least 2 cups of liquid.
Add the chocolate syrup or cocoa powder to the coffee. Mix cocoa powder with a small amount of hot water first to dissolve it before adding it to the coffee.
If you like your coffee sweet, stir in the sugar and mix well until the chocolate and sugar dissolve.
Add the milk to the coffee mixture and stir until well combined.
Fill a separate glass with ice cubes and pour the coffee and milk mixture over the top.
Stir gently to chill the beverage.
If desired, top the iced mocha latte with whipped cream or extra chocolate drizzle. Consider adding a sprinkle of chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish.
Serve immediately, and enjoy your homemade iced mocha latte!
