Cook Time 2 minutes

Equipment

  • Lidded Container
  • Fine Mesh Strainer or Coffee Filter
  • Digital Scale (optional)
  • Coffee grinder (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • sweetener optional
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Combine the coarsely ground coffee beans and cold water in a large jar, pitcher, or French Press. Stir gently to make sure all the coffee grounds are submerged.
  • Cover the container and transfer to steep in the fridge for 12-15 hours.
  • Once the cold brew has steeped, strain the coffee from the grounds using a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter. Discard the spent grounds.
  • Fill and glass with ice cubes and pour about 8oz of cold brew over the top.
  • Add oat milk and any sweetener or syrups to the glass. Stir to incorporate.
  • Enjoy your Oat Milk Cold Brew and store any leftover strained cold brew in the fridge for later use!

Notes

The standard ratio of coffee to water is 1:4, but if you prefer a stronger brew, you can use 1 cup of grounds to 3 cups of water. Adjust the coffee-to-water and oat milk ratios according to your taste preferences. Feel free to experiment and add additional flavors like vanilla extract or cinnamon powder!
